Tart Tin Treasure Jewelry

My collection of tart tins have many purposes when I create.  These tart tins can be big or small, rusty or shiny and are used to store/organize my vintage treasures.  The most creative use has truly been designing treasure pendants.

This collection  of tins has been filled with treasures and inspirational words and quotes.  I complete this process by sealing with diamond glaze and finishing the tins with epoxy resin.
I flattened this tart tin and created inspiration with license plates spelling HOPE!

  1. Hi! We are SEEKING VENDORS for the second annual Vintage Voyage Flea Market/Craft Fair/Farmers Market Event in Montevideo, MN. This is a VERY heavily advertised event. Last year we had a HUGE turnout with shoppers from Fargo, Iowa, Sioux Falls and many other surrounding towns. Vendors are also given "perk packs" with freebies and discounts for use around town. For more information, please check out the facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Vintage-Voyage-A-Crazy-Monte-Dayz-Celebration/132395233620036?ref=hl&ref_type=bookmark
To sign up to be a vendor, contact the chamber office (320) 269-5527 or contact me here. We'd love to see you there! Thank you!

  2. Hi
How exactly do you flatten the tins without ruining them? Please email szukidavis@aol.com with the technique.

Also is there a way to age them? The ones I bought were supposed to be vintage but they look new. (from Sweden). Thanks.
